Meet the collective.
We're a student-led group covering theory, anatomy, biochemistry, and computation, all pointed at one question: how the brain puts a dream together.
Cristobal Sanchez
Lead Theorist & Project DirectorRuns the overall direction of the collective and came up with the framework behind the Sanchez–Raghavendra–Chen model. Pulls the literature together into one mechanistic picture and owns the planning and experimental design. Into neuroscience, biochemistry, and computational modeling.
Pranathi Raghavendra
Head of Anatomy & PhysiologyWorks on the anatomy and physiology behind sleep and dreaming. Checks that the neural pathways in the model are real ones, reads the primary neuroscience closely, and keeps the anatomy honest.
Jin-Rou (Zoey) Chen
Biochemical Interactions LeadHandles the biochemistry of REM and NREM sleep: neurotransmitters, receptor dynamics, and the signaling in between. Makes sure the model gets the molecular side of dreaming right.
Millan Hamilton
Computational Analysis LeadLeads the computational side. Builds the analysis workflows, wrangles and interprets the data, helps with the modeling, and turns findings into something you can actually see.
